Description

You will design and build future-proof applications together with business experts, working across frontend and backend in a headless setup. The role includes implementing Azure App Services and REST APIs, and integrating data models, functions, and interfaces with SAP Commerce and Azure IoT. You will also monitor availability, track events, and continuously improve application functionality while ensuring quality, compliance, and security.

Responsibilities

Contribute to tailored, future-proof application design with modern tools and frameworks
Develop and enhance smart frontend and backend applications, including Angular frontend components
Implement and evolve backend services such as Azure App Services and REST APIs
Implement backend data models, functions, and interfaces with SAP Commerce and Azure IoT
Manage tasks and sub-projects
Build internal expertise to maintain and develop the Weishaupt Anlagenportal
Monitor availability, track events, and implement corrective measures
Ensure application functionality and continuous improvement
Ensure all compliance, quality, and security requirements

Requirements

Completed degree or comparable training as an application developer
3–5 years of experience
Secure implementation of web applications in headless architecture (frontend and backend/API)
Experience with Azure and knowledge of microservices environments (Fabrics)
Knowledge of SAP Commerce Cloud, especially Angular Storefront
Good German and English skills (spoken and written)
Independent, effective working style, including for complex requirements
Curiosity about new processes, technologies, and people
Team spirit, willingness to contribute, and reliability
