Description

You will create custom WordPress websites and landing pages tailored to changing business needs. Work includes building templates from provided graphic designs, deploying sites to external hosting, and ensuring quality through technical SEO and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Build WordPress templates from design mockups
• Implement and modify existing WordPress solutions (not advanced backend from scratch)
• Create fully responsive sites (RWD)
• Deploy websites to external hosting: connect domains and configure SSL
• Apply technical SEO fundamentals during development
• Optimize site performance (Core Web Vitals, speed optimization)
• Support quick-turn, ad hoc client needs across varied project types

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of WordPress, PHP, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL
• Ability to build WordPress templates from scratch based on graphic projects
• Experience creating responsive (RWD) websites
• Experience publishing sites to external hosting providers and setting up domains/SSL
• Basic understanding of technical SEO
• Understanding of website performance optimization (Core Web Vitals and speed optimization)
