Description

Develop and maintain web applications, with a strong emphasis on React.js frontend solutions and backend technologies PHP and Symfony. The role includes building features, creating/updating technical documentation, improving software development and testing processes, and performing code reviews. You will also support accessibility requirements (WCAG) and generate documents (PDF/DOCX) from the frontend.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop the client’s software

• Develop web applications using React.js, JavaScript, and PHP/Symfony

• Create and update technical documentation for the applications

• Propose improvements in development tools and software testing processes

• Conduct code reviews with a focus on code quality and design standards

• Participate in consultations during working-group meetings for delivered projects

Requirements

• Practical React.js knowledge (React Hooks, Custom Hooks, Context API, Vite, Vitest/Jest, React Hook Form, Fetch/Axios) — minimum 5 years or 8 projects

• Experience writing React unit tests (Jest, React Testing Library) — minimum 3 years or 5 projects

• Practical Material UI knowledge — minimum 5 years or 7 projects

• Practical TypeScript — minimum 2 years or 3 projects

• Experience generating PDF and DOCX on the frontend (react-pdf and docx preferred) — minimum 3 years or 5 projects

• Practical Node.js/Express knowledge and experience generating PDF/DOCX — minimum 3 years or 5 projects

• Practical WCAG knowledge — minimum 3 years or 5 projects

• Practical monorepo experience using Turborepo and pnpm — minimum 1 year or 2 projects

• Minimum 3 years of software development in PHP 7+

• Very good practical Symfony knowledge (versions 3–6+)

• Ability to program in JavaScript

• Knowledge of design patterns used in PHP and JavaScript

• Practical knowledge of REST communication

• SQL syntax knowledge

• Ability to use Git for version control

• Ability to independently complete tasks and find optimal solutions

• Teamwork and communication skills

• Initiative to improve the work you deliver

• Ability to perform constructive code reviews, share knowledge, and follow project standards

Additional Requirements

• Practical GitLab — minimum 3 years or 5 projects

• Practical Docker — minimum 1 year or 3 projects

• Practical GitLab CI and code analysis tools within CI — minimum 1 year or 3 projects

• Experience building web applications for handling funding applications (announcing competitions, registering applications, evaluating them) — minimum 1 year (excluding systems based only on importing external files)
