Description

Lead end-to-end document migration projects from legacy repositories (e.g., OpenText) to Veeva Vault RIM for a pharmaceutical client. Design, configure, and optimize Vault RIM workflows, lifecycles, metadata models, and security settings, while mentoring the implementation team. Work within an agile delivery framework to ensure compliant, high-quality configurations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate document migration from legacy repositories to Veeva Vault RIM

• Design and configure Veeva Vault RIM workflows, lifecycles, metadata models, and security settings

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to implementation team members

• Develop migration strategies and execution plans (mapping, transformation, validation)

• Collaborate with business, quality, and IT stakeholders to align requirements and regulatory expectations

• Document design decisions, configuration details, migration scripts, and runbooks

• Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives)

• Recommend improvements based on Veeva Vault RIM best practices

Requirements

• Proven experience configuring Veeva Vault RIM (workflows, lifecycles, document types, security models)

• Hands-on experience migrating documents from legacy systems (e.g., OpenText) into Veeva Vault RIM, including mapping and data transformation

• Track record as a senior consultant or technical lead with the ability to mentor others

• Understanding of document migration and RIM configuration best practices in regulated environments

• Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory and quality expectations for regulated content management

• Experience working in agile teams and collaborating across cross-functional stakeholders
