Description

You will provide 1st- and 2nd-level IT support to end users via remote tools, email, phone, and on-site. You will administer and maintain the IT infrastructure, including Windows and Linux servers, workstation PCs, network components, communications solutions, and applications. You will also troubleshoot hardware/software issues, keep IT network documentation up to date, and administer the virtual server landscape with VMware vSphere.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1st- and 2nd-level support (remote, email, phone, on-site)

• Administer IT infrastructure: servers (Windows, Linux), workstations, networking, communication solutions, and applications

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software faults

• Create and maintain IT network documentation

• Administer virtual servers using VMware vSphere

Requirements

• Completed IT-technical training and/or several years of experience in IT and network administration

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Server and Client operating systems

• Knowledge of IP-based network administration (switching, routing, firewall, network security)

• Independent and team-oriented working style

• Flexibility and resilience

• Service-oriented attitude with good analytical and communication skills
