Product Designer (Mobile)
Mid • Hybrid
Prague, Czech Republic
Quick Facts
Role: Product Designer (Mobile)
Description
You will own end-to-end mobile product design for a health-tech medication safety application: starting from CPO-defined problem scope, conducting research and usability testing, creating flows, and delivering high-fidelity UI in Figma with developer-ready specifications.
You will cover all UI states (empty/error, edge cases, long text, dark mode, and iOS vs Android differences), write UX copy with medically relevant context, and maintain a design system consistent with code.
You will collaborate daily with developers via design QA, UI bug resolution, and iterative improvements—using AI tools as part of the workflow.
Responsibilities
Research: analyze competitors and platform standards, identify technical development constraints, and run usability tests
Concept to high-fidelity: create flows, options/variants, clickable prototypes, and final designs in Figma (AI tools allowed)
Detailed design & handoff: design every screen state, including edge cases and long text; specify dark mode and iOS/Android behavior; document micro-animations
Design system: own the Molecula design library—components, variants, tokens, conventions, and alignment with the codebase
Collaboration: work closely with developers, answer questions, run design QA builds, address UI bugs, and iterate
UX copy: write interface text according to copy guidelines, handling medically relevant wording that requires expert-safe phrasing
Requirements
Experience shipping mobile applications or major mobile features on both iOS and Android, from assignment to release
Portfolio demonstrating the full process: research → flow/variants → key decisions → final design
Advanced Figma skills (auto-layout, variants, variables, design tokens, shared libraries)
Experience managing and evolving a design system
Daily collaboration with developers and oversight of implementation fidelity via design QA
Ability to use AI tools in the design workflow and critically evaluate/refine outputs
Strong attention to detail and consistency; does not leave incomplete or unspecified UI states
Native/C2 Czech level for writing precise, understandable UX copy directly in the interface
Usability testing experience (moderation and evaluation) is required
Benefits
AI-first environment with paid tooling (e.g., Claude Code) and support for local models
Meaningful work that helps prevent real medication interaction risks for patients
Hybrid setup: 2 days/week in the Vodičkova office; remainder remote
25 days of vacation
Compensation aligned with overall experience
