Description

You will create traffic planning and software implementations for traffic light (Lichtsignalanlagen) systems, including public transport (ÖPNV) and C-ITS, using the LISA traffic engineering workstation. The role also includes producing technical documentation and construction instructions for new installations, upgrades, and changes. You will support customers and field staff with traffic engineering questions and use specialized software tools for testing, configuration, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare traffic planning and implement software for traffic signal systems using LISA and vs | plus
• Create traffic engineering documentation
• Develop construction instructions for new systems, conversions, and modifications
• Advise customers and support field engineers with traffic engineering questions
• Use specialized software tools for testing, configuration, and communication

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (traffic engineering/transportation technology) or equivalent state-recognized technician qualification
• Experience with the LISA traffic engineering workstation or proven expertise in planning and implementing signal systems
• Excellent German language skills (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical abilities and solution-oriented thinking for complex traffic engineering challenges
• Initiative, independent work, reliability, and enjoyment of teamwork
• Basic programming knowledge (desired)
• Experience with traffic simulation software or CAD tools for traffic applications (desired)
• Project management knowledge (advantageous)
