Description

Lead the setup and ongoing support of an SAP data and analytics platform using SAP BDC and SAP Datasphere. You will build the data foundation for reporting and AI/GenAI use cases, ensure BI and data platform operations, and develop dashboards, reports, and analytics. You will also drive transformation projects such as migrating from BW 7.5 to SAP BDC, Datasphere, and SAC.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate the data and analytics platform based on SAP BDC and SAP Datasphere; further develop it
• Create a data base for reporting and for AI and GenAI application cases
• Ensure operations and support for the BI and data platform
• Integrate and model data in SAP Datasphere
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analyses for decision support
• Maintain and optimize existing solutions
• Coordinate external service providers, including quality and acceptance management
• Take project responsibility for transformations (e.g., BW 7.5 to SAP BDC, Datasphere, SAC)
• Ensure AI readiness of the data platform
• Support GenAI and LLM use cases

Requirements

• Completed degree in (business) informatics, business economics, or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience, ideally about 3–4 years in SAP BW
• Interest in SAP-based data, reporting, and analytics (BW, Datasphere, SAC)
• Interest in data modeling, integration, and modern reporting architectures
• Structured, solution-oriented approach with interest in standards, data quality, and governance
• Openness to new technologies, especially AI and GenAI applications
• Experience in SAP, BI, controlling, IT, or adjacent areas is desirable
• Initiative, willingness to learn, and enjoyment of cross-department collaboration
• Fluent German and English
