Description

You will lead a centralized, spec-driven, AI-agentic product organization. As a builder-first leader, you set product strategy and goals, build and coach Product Builders, and stay hands-on prototyping with AI, writing specs, and working with code and data. You measure outcomes, define the way of building from idea to production, and raise the quality bar for specs and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of Product Builders (hire, coach, give feedback, and let go when needed)

• Define product strategy and goals, turning them into an owned plan

• Prototype with AI tools, write specs, and dig into code and data; own at least one initiative end to end

• Define the spec-driven, AI-agentic process and spec quality bar, and how builders partner with engineering

• Make scope and priority decisions and communicate them clearly to stakeholders across markets

• Measure what matters and hold the team to outcomes, not output

• Be the person builders want to learn from

Requirements

• 8+ years building software products, including 3+ years leading product people

• Proven history of shipped products with measurable business results

• Ongoing hands-on prototyping and automation with AI (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable or similar)

• Technical depth: read code, discuss architecture, work with APIs and data, and write SQL

• Experience hiring strong people, developing talent, and making difficult people decisions

• Experience with complex products (marketplaces, transactional or B2B systems, or multi-market platforms)

• Clear writing and direct communication in English with senior stakeholders

• High standards and low ego; focus on results
