Description

You’ll join a multidisciplinary UX team to create intuitive, engaging user journeys for Google Images and Google Search. The role emphasizes a builder’s mindset and strong design craft, systems thinking, and AI fluency to prototype and assess AI-assisted outputs. You’ll collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to deliver coherent, scalable design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver creative solutions

• Communicate the user experience through wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes

• Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product updates

• Advocate for prioritization of design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

• 6+ years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design

• Experience designing native app-first experiences (iOS, Android)

• Experience contributing to mature design systems (component design, documentation, and education)

• Experience designing for consumer-facing products
