Description

You will test pre-release builds by reviewing code changes, finding unexpected behavior, reproducing and tracing issues to their origin, and verifying compatibility across other servers and clients. You will document bugs in Jira with clear reproduction steps so the team can act immediately. AI will be used to prepare test scenarios, analyze logs, and automate routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review the next pre-release version and validate new features and fixes

• Use GitHub to understand what changed and decide where to focus testing

• Identify where behavior differs from expected outcomes

• Reproduce bugs, track down the root cause, and confirm compatibility with other servers and clients

• Create Jira tickets including concise problem descriptions and step-by-step reproduction instructions

• Propose smarter testing approaches using AI when possible

Requirements

• Proactive, hands-on approach to uncover issues before users encounter them

• Active experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) for testing support

• Experience with Git and GitHub (branches, commits, pull requests)

• Experience with Jira (or similar) for ticket creation and workflow management

• Excellent written English

• Advanced technical thinking and strong IT orientation

• Ability to work independently: research, connect context, and complete investigations

• Clear and concise communication of what is wrong and why

• Experience with QA, usability testing, or automated testing (preferred)

• Basic knowledge of network protocols (preferred)
