Description

You will design and implement a modular, distributed infrastructure-related framework that controls and integrates dozens of IT systems from startup through deployment to shutdown. The role involves architecting and developing distributed software, ensuring strong testability, and supporting engineering teams with tooling and processes. You will also perform integration and acceptance testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop distributed software and framework architecture in an Infrastructure & Operations context

• Ensure excellent testability

• Coordinate closely with other software teams

• Build tools to improve development processes (e.g., code generators)

• Perform integration and acceptance testing

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or a similar field

• 5 to 10 years of professional experience (or more)

• Extensive experience in software architecture, design, and development

• Experience designing and implementing distributed systems

• Experience with IT infrastructure-related projects such as Terraform, Nomad, or Kubernetes

• Excellent C++ skills; additional languages/frameworks such as Qt/QML, Go, Ansible, or Python are a plus

• English at negotiation level
