Description

You’ll work with Art Directors to create and iterate on a wide range of 2D in-game renders and marketing visuals for an unannounced cross-platform Strategy/MMO title. The role is primarily centered on character renders for in-game talking heads, plus additional render work for UI screens and promotional scenarios. You’ll collaborate across modeling, rigging, animation, UI, and marketing teams while coordinating rendering resources and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality visuals for promotional materials and rendered game images

• Produce character renders for talking heads

• Create renders for in-game UI screens

• Produce 2D marketing imagery for advertising and social media, as well as in-game usage

• Create memorable promotional renders that reflect character personalities

• Collaborate with modeling, rigging, animation, UI, and marketing teams

• Coordinate rendering resources, schedules, and priorities with Production

• Maintain studio quality standards

Requirements

• Demonstrated history of creating high-quality renders and 2D promotional pieces using 3D assets and rendering techniques

• Strong judgment of composition and framing

• Experience shipping multiple titles as a Render Artist/Marketing Artist

• Strong understanding of lighting in 3D render scenes

• Ability to pose characters and work with 3D assets using existing skeletal rigs

• Maya experience

• Working knowledge of Marmoset Toolbag (or comparable software)

• Strong communication, organization, time management, and interpersonal skills

• Positive attitude; able to receive and provide objective feedback

• Active English speaker (B2+)

• EU work authorization; no visa/work-permit sponsorship needed
