Description

You will develop and evolve in-house applications with a stable tech setup, focusing on Delphi (Object Pascal) and databases. You’ll optimize existing systems, build new applications, and create reports using advanced SQL queries. The position works within clear standards and an agile environment, with structured collaboration and technical requirement implementation.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with other developers to further develop in-house software based on clear standards

• Contribute ideas to improve development guidelines and technical standards

• Develop new applications, optimize existing ones, and extend systems with a focus on Delphi (Object Pascal) and databases

• Create reports using demanding SQL queries and ensure reliable data foundations through targeted SQL usage

• Analyze and implement technical requirements in a structured, solution-oriented way

Requirements

• Completed degree in (Business) Informatics or comparable IT training (e.g., Application Development Specialist)

• Fluent German; secure communication in meetings, code reviews, and with other teams

• Several years of professional software development experience (experience with other languages/technologies is a plus)

• Routine in object-oriented development

• Knowledge of Clean Code, design patterns, and Clean Architecture

• Experience with Jira and Git; comfort working in agile project environments
