Description

You will develop and support virtualization solutions, taking component responsibility across concepts, automation, and cloud enablement. The position includes identifying standardization and automation opportunities, building concepts, performing hardware validation and hardening, and supporting the introduction of new cloud technologies. You will document the created concepts and processes in a thorough, reliable way.

Responsibilities

• Component ownership for virtualization solutions

• Identify and implement standardization and automation opportunities

• Support the introduction of new cloud technologies

• Develop concepts for virtualization solutions

• Perform hardware validation and hardware hardening

• Conduct independent, conceptual work

• Produce robust documentation of concepts and processes

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science/Business Informatics or comparable IT training (e.g., IT specialist for system integration/application development)

• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience

• Strong team communication and coordination skills

• Practical experience with Windows scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell)

• Good knowledge of server hardware virtualization

• Knowledge of hardware, network, and storage

• Experience in cloud management
