Description

Design and evolve cloud, infrastructure, and storage solutions to ensure reliable, high-performance platform operations. Create and implement solution designs ranging from classic enterprise storage to software-defined and object storage. Guide storage products and technologies throughout their lifecycle and contribute to product development, including Kubernetes, OpenStack, and software-defined networking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and extend modern cloud, infrastructure, and storage solutions while ensuring dependable, performant platform operations

• Create and technically implement storage solution designs (enterprise storage, software-defined storage, object storage)

• Manage products and technologies across their lifecycle (introduction, further development, replacement)

• Actively contribute to product development

• Provide expertise in Kubernetes, OpenStack, and software-defined networking

Requirements

• Multi-year experience in cloud and infrastructure environments with solid knowledge of infrastructure systems administration

• Completed degree in computer science or equivalent qualification

• In-depth knowledge of storage technologies, ideally experience in enterprise storage environments

• Experience with software-defined storage (e.g., Ceph) and with object storage and backup solutions (e.g., Veeam)

• Independent, responsible working style

• Enjoyment in identifying problems and solving them sustainably to achieve high availability

• Ability to take responsibility for cost-efficient and scalable storage architecture designs
