Description

You will create and continuously improve cloud architecture and IT system concepts, ensuring reliable integration into existing system landscapes. The role includes complex cloud commissioning/service work, high-availability and backup/restore design, and security-driven implementation (including penetration testing support). You will also coordinate troubleshooting, performance optimization, and international IT projects in line with ITIL and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Organize and carry out complex commissioning and service tasks in cloud environments
• Create and further develop cloud architecture and IT system concepts
• Develop and implement high-availability, clustering, backup, and restore concepts
• Work with external service providers and create functional specifications (Pflichtenhefte)
• Integrate new solutions into existing system landscapes and ensure smooth interfaces
• Implement and support security measures, including penetration tests, as well as cybersecurity and data-protection concepts
• Administer Active Directory and manage user and authorization structures
• Operate and administer IT infrastructure components such as servers, networks, storage, security appliances, and middleware
• Coordinate troubleshooting, performance optimization, and international IT projects according to ITIL and documentation standards

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science/Business Informatics or equivalent training
• Very strong knowledge of server operating systems, virtualization, databases, and Active Directory
• Several years of relevant professional experience
• Solid knowledge of server operating systems, IT security concepts, and on-prem/cloud technologies
• Experience with scripting and at least one programming language
• Safe handling of server applications, security solutions, and antivirus software
• Strong service/customer orientation and communication skills
• Resilience, self-initiation, and strong teamwork
• German (C1) and English (B2) proficiency
