Description

Ensure that the NeuroSCS software system meets performance requirements before release under realistic conditions, including peak load. You will own performance testing across the full lifecycle—from requirements through test planning/execution and delivery of inputs for regulatory approval. You will also prototype performance-focused implementations for new features and technologies and derive performance requirements that inform system design adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure performance requirements are met prior to release under realistic peak-load conditions
• Own the full lifecycle of performance tests: requirement specification, test planning/execution, and inputs for regulatory approval
• Create prototype implementations for performance improvements related to new features and technologies
• Derive performance requirements and propose design changes based on them
• Support the conception, design, and implementation of automated software and integration tests for product features
• Coordinate work, contribute, and transfer knowledge within cross-functional, cross-site feature teams

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification
• Multiple years of experience in software development, test management, and test automation
• Ability to analyze large datasets and basic statistics knowledge
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and additional programming languages
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes and CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins, ArgoCD, Ansible) and the Grafana stack
• Very good German skills and good English skills
• Desirable: Experience with Couchbase and development of medical software according to ISO 62304/82304
