Description

You will maintain, modify, and develop ETL processes for long-term data warehouse projects using Ab Initio or IBM InfoSphere DataStage. The role includes writing, optimizing, and tuning SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle stored procedures (Oracle 19c), monitoring daily data loads, analyzing logs, and quickly addressing issues in production and test environments. You will implement new business requirements in the data model and lead changes independently from analysis to deployment, with day-shift on-call (no nights or weekends).

Responsibilities

• Maintain, modify, and develop ETL processes with Ab Initio or IBM InfoSphere DataStage

• Write, optimize, and tune SQL queries, PL/SQL, and Oracle stored procedures

• Oversee daily data loads for the data warehouse; analyze logs and react to errors

• Diagnose and resolve incidents in production and test environments

• Implement new business requirements in the data model while maintaining high quality

• Lead changes independently from analysis through deployment

• Provide subject-matter support to less experienced team members

• Participate in day shift on-call (morning or afternoon), without nights or weekends

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience as an ETL/DWH developer

• Practical knowledge of Ab Initio or IBM InfoSphere DataStage

• Very good knowledge of Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL with optimization skills

• Experience monitoring production environments and resolving problems in ETL processes

• Knowledge of the banking/financial sector, including banking data structures

• Willingness to take full responsibility for delivered solutions and act independently
