Description

You will design and build predictive models and modern analytics solutions using cloud tools (Microsoft Azure, Databricks) and data/ML technologies (Python, SQL, PySpark, Power BI). The work involves creating, testing, deploying, and evaluating predictive models to support insurance risk assessment, demand forecasting, and business decision optimization. You will communicate outcomes to key business stakeholders and continuously monitor and adapt solutions as market conditions evolve.

Responsibilities

• Design analytical solutions using cloud tools (Microsoft Azure, Databricks)

• Work with diverse, distributed data to uncover factors, trends, and business opportunities

• Create, test, and implement predictive models that drive business results

• Build tools for training and evaluating models

• Use models for insurance risk assessment, demand forecasting, and optimizing business decisions

• Present findings to stakeholders responsible for key business segments

• Monitor model performance against business assumptions and adjust solutions to changing market conditions

• Experiment with new modeling methods and analytical techniques

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Python (pandas, scikit-learn; optional PyTorch/TensorFlow/Keras) with practical experience in predictive modeling

• Good SQL knowledge and ability to work independently with databases

• Knowledge of modeling methods (e.g., GLM, tree-based models, boosting, deep learning)

• Experience with MLFlow and Git is a plus

• Problem-solving drive, creativity, and ability to propose solutions

• Willingness to challenge existing patterns and propose new approaches

• Ability to derive logical conclusions and present results clearly to decision-makers

• Openness to change and motivation to learn and develop

• Higher education (preferred: math, physics, computer science, econometrics, data analysis, data engineering, big data, or related)
