Position: (Senior) Data Scientist / AI Engineer. Focus on building and productionizing GenAI solutions, including multi-agent systems.

Description

As part of the AI team, you take ownership of the technical implementation of innovative GenAI solutions up to multi-agent systems. You develop production-ready AI applications based on business requirements—from data foundation and prototyping through evaluation and integration to operations. You work end-to-end to convert PoCs into robust, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Technical implementation of GenAI solutions including multi-agent systems.
• Development of robust, scalable, production-near AI applications.
• Concept and implementation of GenAI and AI-agent solutions for omnichannel sales and other central business areas.
• Data preparation, model selection, and building agent workflows for use cases.
• PoC-to-production transition with technical integration via APIs, existing systems, and modern cloud stacks.
• Definition of evaluation criteria; implementation of tests, monitoring, and guardrails for quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Close collaboration with specialist departments, product owners, and IT teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field.
• Several years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing AI/ML or GenAI applications; ideally including production rollout.
• Very good Python skills and modern software engineering practices (APIs, Git, testing, reproducible development processes).
• Solid experience with Large Language Models; knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, and/or agentic architectures.
• Ideally experience with agent frameworks such as AgentCore, AutoGen, or CrewAI, and knowledge of cloud stacks like AWS.
• Analytical skills, understanding of business processes, and ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ownership, strong execution, innovation mindset; collaboration with business teams, Data Engineers, DevOps experts, and external partners.
• Excellent English and good German (written and spoken).
