Description

Lead testing efforts by coordinating QA and business testers while building and improving automated test suites. Own test planning, functional/integration/acceptance/performance testing, API testing, defect analysis and reporting, and execution using SQL queries. Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure delivery quality.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate work of the testing team and business testers

• Prepare test cases and test scenarios

• Create and develop automated tests

• Execute functional, integration, acceptance, and performance testing

• Test APIs and integrations between systems

• Analyze test results, report outcomes, and manage defects

• Run tests using SQL queries

• Work with development and maintenance teams

• Participate in test process planning and ensure solution quality

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of software testing experience

• Minimum 5 years of test automation experience

• Minimum 3 years coordinating a testing team

• Very good hands-on knowledge of SoapUI, JMeter, Postman (or similar)

• Experience with API / Web Services testing

• Practical knowledge of REST, SOAP, XML, JSON

• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases

• Experience using JIRA (or similar) for bug/test management

• Practical ability to prepare test cases and scenarios

• Experience planning and organizing QA team work in the software delivery process

• Higher education

• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) or equivalent
