Description

Work on core backend and data-processing capabilities for a Portfolio Management Tool (PMT). Build and support Flask-based APIs, PostgreSQL-backed business logic, and ETL pipelines for portfolio modelling, trade workflows, market data ingestion, and operational reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support backend and data-processing components
• Develop Flask-based REST APIs
• Implement PostgreSQL-backed business logic
• Maintain ETL pipelines for modelling, workflows, ingestion, and reporting
• Troubleshoot production incidents and implement durable fixes

Requirements

• Strong Python development experience in enterprise/business-critical applications
• Hands-on experience with Flask or a similar Python REST API framework
• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL skills, including debugging and query performance tuning
• Experience with ETL, batch processing, or workflow orchestration
• Experience using Pandas and NumPy libraries
• Understanding of layered application design (service, repository, DAO-style patterns)
• Experience writing unit and integration tests
• Familiarity with containerized runtime environments and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to investigate incidents, diagnose root causes, and implement durable fixes
