Description

Design and develop mechanical components, products, machines, and complex assemblies for automotive and e-mobility applications. Create and maintain 3D models, technical drawings, and engineering documentation, translating requirements into functional and manufacturable design solutions. Implement engineering changes while ensuring documentation consistency, and collaborate across disciplines to support validation and production readiness.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and products

• Create, modify, and maintain 3D models and technical drawings

• Translate technical and business requirements into manufacturable designs

• Implement engineering changes and design modifications; ensure consistent documentation

• Work with domain-specific materials and technologies (e.g., plastics, sheet metal, precision mechanics)

• Collaborate with electrical, electronics, manufacturing, quality, and systems engineering teams

• Ensure design feasibility and support smooth transition to production with manufacturing stakeholders

• Participate in design reviews, problem-solving, and continuous product improvement

Requirements

• Solid, practical experience in 3D mechanical design and product development

• Knowledge of at least one professional CAD environment: CATIA, Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or Creo

• Proven experience in one or more mechanical engineering domains: plastics and injection-moulded components, sheet metal and metal structures, precision mechanics, or mechanical assemblies and complex components

• Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, materials, and manufacturing processes

• Ability to assess design solutions from engineering and manufacturing perspectives

• Experience with cross-functional or international engineering teams

• Communicative English for collaboration and meetings

• Practical, analytical approach to engineering challenges and requirements-to-solution delivery
