Description

The Data Governance Specialist embeds data governance into strategic programs and product delivery teams by defining data ownership and stewardship and promoting adoption of data contracts. You will partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to make governance-by-design part of day-to-day delivery, bridging business and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and maintain data ownership and stewardship models

• Support development, implementation, and governance of data contracts between producers and consumers

• Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to embed governance-by-design into delivery

• Support governance forums, reporting, risk management, and issue resolution between data contract parties

Requirements

• 7+ years in Data Governance, Data Management, Business Analysis, or related field

• Strong understanding of data ownership, stewardship, quality, and contracts

• Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills

• Comfortable working across business and technical teams
