Description

Own planning, design, implementation, commissioning, and operation of highly available Elastic platforms with a strong emphasis on Elastic Security, Observability, and Enterprise Search. Handle complex incidents and root-cause analysis, create architecture concepts for scaling and optimization, and continuously improve automation and operational workflows. Provide technical project leadership and presales support through architecture consulting, solution design, effort estimates, and technical presentations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement, commission, and operate high-availability Elastic platforms (Elastic Security/SIEM, Observability, Enterprise Search)
• Analyze and resolve complex incidents with deep error analysis and develop sustainable resolution strategies
• Create technical concepts and architecture decision documents for scaling and optimization
• Design, introduce, and continuously optimize automations, pipelines, workflows, and operational processes to improve efficiency, stability, security, and data quality
• Lead complex customer projects and deliverables, including resource coordination and vendor management to ensure on-time, quality, and budget-compliant delivery
• Define, implement, and monitor measures for SLA compliance, security standards, and compliance requirements while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Develop strategic architecture, operations, scaling, and lifecycle-management concepts, including Kubernetes (ECK) and cloud/hybrid environments
• Support presales and acquisition efforts with architecture consulting, solution design, effort estimation, and technical presentations
• Contribute to service/solution portfolio evolution focused on Elastic Security, Observability, ECK, automation, data engineering, and modern platform technologies
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing through documentation, workshops, and best practices

Requirements

• Master’s or diploma degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or comparable qualification; or equivalent proven work experience
• At least 7 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in IT administration of complex systems
• Customer-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset; able to work with management and C-level stakeholders
• Professional, trustworthy, and empathetic presence in technical and business contexts
• Structured, systematic working approach and strong prioritization capability in complex environments
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, especially for architecture and security design
• Flexibility, resilience, and high willingness to perform in dynamic settings
• Excellent presentation, moderation, and communication skills
• Broad technical understanding and proven expert knowledge in Elastic, Security, Logging, Observability, and related technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Linux, Cloud, networking, scripting)
• Leadership ability and experience steering technical teams or project-related leadership
• Proficiency with the MS Office suite
• High team, cooperation, and conflict-resolution skills
• ITIL Expert certification or comparable qualification
• Very good German and English skills (verbal and written)
