Description

You will develop and enhance the organization’s security architecture with a focus on network, cloud, and endpoint security. The position includes designing modern security concepts such as Zero Trust and Identity First Security, strengthening Cloud Security on Microsoft Azure, and owning vulnerability management end-to-end. You will also contribute to Security Operations and support incident response and security monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop the security architecture for network, cloud, and endpoint security

• Design and implement modern security concepts (Zero Trust, Identity First Security, Cyber Resilience)

• Build and optimize cloud security solutions focused on Microsoft Azure

• Own vulnerability management: analyze, prioritize, and track remediation measures

• Evolve Security Operations and support incident response and security monitoring

• Integrate and optimize existing solutions such as XDR, Endpoint Security, NGFW, SIEM, and CSPA tools

• Advise IT teams and business departments on security requirements and suitable measures

• Work closely with internal teams and external service providers

Requirements

• At least seven years of experience in IT security

• Degree in Computer Science or Cyber Security, or comparable training with relevant further education

• Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security, and cloud-native architectures

• Practical experience with Qualys VMDR or comparable vulnerability management tools

• Experience with modern security architectures and access concepts (Zero Trust, SASE/SSE, CASB)

• Knowledge of Security Operations, incident response, and security monitoring

• Interest in AI-supported Security Operations and security analytics

• Analytical, structured, independent working style

• Strong communication and consulting skills

• Very good German (at least C1) and good English skills

• Ideally CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or similar certifications

• Experience with SOAR platforms, API integrations, or security automation

• Plus: knowledge of cryptography
