Description

You will work in an experienced ABAP team to develop and support SAP and SAP DMS solutions. The role includes building and maintaining ABAP/ABAP Objects applications, extending document management processes in DOXIS4 and Doxis ICA, and implementing forms, reports, ALV Grid outputs, and interfaces. You will also help with the planned S/4HANA migration by performing required code adjustments and modernization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain individual SAP applications using classic ABAP, ABAP Objects, and ABAP SQL; take long-term ownership of your solutions

• Further develop existing custom developments and internal SAP applications; optimize existing code and implement new business requirements technically

• Coordinate requirements with business departments, analyze them, and translate them into practical SAP solutions

• Extend the document management landscape with DOXIS4 and future Doxis ICA, including document processes, workflows, and digital mail in/out

• Develop and maintain forms, reports, and outputs, including Smart Forms and ALV Grid

• Realize interfaces, implement Customizing changes, and work with ABAP SQL and Native SQL on a Microsoft SQL Server (e.g., for customer and member portals)

• Support the planned S/4HANA migration by executing necessary code changes and contributing to SAP structure modernization

• Integrate additional business units into the SAP and DMS landscape and map new processes sustainably in the existing systems

Requirements

• Solid experience in SAP development with classic ABAP and ABAP Objects

• Ideally at least 5 years of SAP professional experience (or fewer years with a strong fit)

• Excellent ABAP SQL knowledge; Native SQL and Microsoft SQL Server experience is beneficial

• Experience in SAP DMS; DOXIS4 or Doxis ICA knowledge is particularly helpful

• Ideally experience with S/4HANA migration or related code adaptations

• Knowledge of Smart Forms, ALV Grid, interfaces, reports, and Customizing

• Experience with SAP HR/HCM or SAP BW is a plus

• Independent, structured, solution-oriented work and confident coordination with business stakeholders

• German language skills of at least C1
