Praha, Czechia

Quick Facts

  • Role: Associate Manager, AI/ML Engineering

  • Focus: Hands-on leadership to design and productionize agentic AI workflows

Description

Lead the day-to-day work of a small team of data engineers while you personally deliver agentic AI systems that automate and scale data operations and analytics products. Build multi-step agent loops with tool calling, orchestration, and memory/state management; implement evaluation and observability for deployed agents; and ground outputs with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). Define production guardrails and human-in-the-loop review boundaries, own model/prompt-pipeline versioning, and drive continuous improvement and incident response.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct daily work of a small team; review outputs and deliver technical work yourself

  • Design, build, and productionize agentic AI workflows with sub-agent orchestration and memory/state management

  • Develop evaluation harnesses and observability to measure accuracy, latency, and cost and diagnose failure modes

  • Implement RAG and semantic search against proprietary data assets

  • Define guardrails, escalation points, and human-in-the-loop boundaries for production agents

  • Translate business requirements into agent specifications and delivery plans

  • Own deployed agent model/prompt-pipeline versioning, including production incident response and improvements

  • Guide and review junior engineers and stay current on agentic AI tooling

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related quantitative field

  • 5+ years of experience in data science or AI/ML engineering; at least 2 years shipping agentic AI or LLM applications in production

  • Hands-on experience with machine learning and agent orchestration frameworks such as Claude Code and Claude Agent SDK, including tool-calling and MCP-based integration patterns

  • Strong applied Python, SQL, and Snowflake fundamentals

  • Experience designing evaluation frameworks for agent accuracy, latency, and cost

  • Knowledge of agent failure modes (hallucination, drift, prompt injection, cost runaway) and mitigation through guardrails and human-in-the-loop review

  • People management experience directing and reviewing junior engineers while owning personal delivery

Benefits

  • 5 weeks of holidays plus extra corporate days off

  • Flexible hybrid work and ability to work from home most of the week

  • Sick days and flexible scheduling

  • Cafeteria system (Flexipasses points, pension/life insurance, or Multisport card) and meal allowance

  • Equal Opportunity Employer; employment eligibility verification required
