Description

You will design and develop scalable data solutions within the Databricks ecosystem in an international environment. The role focuses on defining architecture standards and best practices, supporting modern data platform and pipeline implementation, and guiding architectural decisions across performance, scalability, governance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data architectures based on Databricks

• Define architecture standards, patterns, and best practices for the Databricks environment

• Support the design and implementation of modern data platforms and data pipelines

• Translate business and technical requirements into robust data architecture solutions

• Support architectural decisions related to performance, scalability, governance, and security

• Contribute to the development and optimization of the client’s data landscape

• Provide technical guidance and architectural expertise throughout the project

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience as a Data Architect / Databricks Architect

• Very good practical knowledge of the Databricks ecosystem

• Experience working on projects within the manufacturing industry

• Strong understanding of modern data architectures, data platforms, and cloud-based data solutions

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of architectural decisions

• Strong communication skills with international stakeholders

• English at minimum C1 level

• Nice to have: German language skills
