Description

Build and maintain resilient, scalable microservices and full stack applications powering institutional FX services such as FX Prime Brokerage, FX Hedging, and FX order management. Contribute to migrating systems to a microservices architecture, deliver iterative improvements in Agile, and proactively address security vulnerabilities and internal control requirements. Automate testing and deployment, monitor live systems, and support releases with daily production updates.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based microservices and full stack applications for FX services
• Help migrate systems toward a microservices architecture (100–150 microservices)
• Participate in Agile development and deliver iterative enhancements
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and internal controls; address vulnerabilities proactively
• Automate testing and deployment as part of DevOps responsibilities
• Monitor live systems and provide out-of-hours support when necessary
• Collaborate with international teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment
• Support release management and deploy updates to production daily

Requirements

• 5–10 years of hands-on experience as a Java full stack engineer
• Strong understanding of microservices and Spring/Spring Boot
• UI development experience with Angular or React
• Database experience with MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and/or MongoDB
• Degree in engineering, information systems, or related field
• Strong problem-solving skills; ability to deliver clean, high-quality, secure solutions
• Experience working in Agile environments and strong communication skills
• Fluent English
• Willingness to work from the Krakow office two days per week
• Legal right to work in the European Union
