Description

You connect IT with business departments and help develop solutions that make processes smarter. The program alternates between hands-on experience in practice and academic study, and your work can include digitalization, process optimization, data management, and supporting IT applications from requirements through testing and rollout. You translate business needs into IT concepts and collaborate with stakeholders to present results.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and evaluate how IT systems can improve, automate, or increase transparency
• Work with databases, information systems, and interfaces; learn to capture, process, and evaluate data
• Use modern IT tools and systems (ERP, reporting, collaboration, ticketing)
• Support the introduction, customization, and maintenance of applications from requirements analysis to testing and rollout
• Gather functional requirements from areas such as controlling, logistics, HR, or customer service and convert them into IT concepts
• Participate in projects, align with stakeholders, and explain results clearly

Requirements

• (Specialized) Higher Education Entrance Qualification (Fach-)Abitur with at least 2.6 overall
• Strong German and math skills
• Good communication skills
• Interest in business and IT-technical contexts and processes
• Comfortable with numbers and IT fundamentals
• Punctuality and reliability
• Enjoys logic and analysis with interest in numbers, data, and structures
• Careful, structured working style; able to learn new systems and tools
