Description

Design, build, and maintain a central data platform for a global insurance company, enabling efficient data processing and accessibility. Ensure performance, cost optimization, data protection, IT security, and scalability. Work with cross-functional teams to deliver long-term solutions and resolve incidents with a DevOps mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance data platforms for diverse enterprise data needs
• Meet performance, cost, security, data protection, and scalability requirements
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and BI Developers to shape requirements and best long-term solutions
• Resolve incidents
• Own and operate the platform (build it, run it)

Requirements

• Azure cloud data platform expertise (preferred: Azure)
• Proficiency in Python (Spark-oriented), SQL, and PowerShell/Bash
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code
• DevQAOps mindset: build, assure, and own
• Understanding of Data Lakehouse, Delta Lake, and Data Vault concepts
• Enterprise-grade project experience and consulting experience desirable
• Fluent English
• Strong task management and problem-solving
• Hands-on, independent working style
• Experience in agile environments
• Result-oriented communication across different departments
• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
