Description

You will develop and implement strategic digitalization projects using AI across the insurance value chain. The role focuses on preparing and integrating structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data for (Gen)AI solutions, and on deploying and operating machine learning and (Gen)AI solutions with an MLOps approach. You will design, implement, and operate scalable data-management and (Gen)AI solutions in cloud environments and support operational units in building and enhancing ML and (Gen)AI applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement digitalization projects using AI across the insurance value chain
  • Prepare and integrate large volumes of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data for (Gen)AI solutions
  • Contribute to productive deployment and operations of ML and (Gen)AI solutions with MLOps
  • Design, implement, and operate scalable data-management and (Gen)AI solutions in cloud environments
  • Support and advise operational units on using results to develop and further enhance ML and (Gen)AI applications

Requirements

  • Fluency in English and German
  • University degree in natural sciences, (applied) mathematics, computer science, business informatics, or a related field
  • Solid data modeling and data visualization knowledge with scalable data management concepts, including standardized ETL processes and data pipelines
  • Practical experience taking data and MLOps into production
  • Sound knowledge of one or more programming, scripting, and database languages (e.g., Python, Spark, SQL)
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., GitHub)
  • Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS)
  • Proactive, innovation-oriented way of working with the ability to work networked
  • Experience designing and implementing data- and AI-driven solutions using classical ML models, LLMs, RAG architectures, and/or agent-based systems
  • Preferably insurance industry experience
  • Willingness to travel
