Description

You will own product quality and contribute to go/no-go release decisions. The role focuses on designing and maintaining E2E, API, and integration tests using JavaScript/TypeScript, with a strong emphasis on API and service-level testing. You will integrate automated tests into CI/CD and use AI tools to generate and maintain tests while critically reviewing their quality and value.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain E2E, API, and integration tests
• Build and improve automated test coverage, especially for API/service-level testing
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Use AI tools to generate and maintain tests, reviewing quality and value
• Create reliable test infrastructure (test data, fixtures, contract tests)
• Perform manual and exploratory testing where automation isn’t the best solution
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to convert requirements into testable scenarios
• Investigate production issues using logging and observability tools and feed findings back into the test suite

Requirements

• 3+ years of test automation experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with Playwright or Cypress
• API testing experience (Postman or equivalent)
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD
• Understanding of web applications and networking, including CORS
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or DynamoDB
• Experience with AWS, logging, debugging, and observability
• Practical experience using AI tools for development and test automation
• Ability to assess quality risks and make release decisions
• English C1+
