Description

Own and improve Playwright-based automation testing across Engager, covering both front-end UI screens and API endpoints. Build and maintain Playwright automation frameworks and test suites, integrate them into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with developers and product owners to ensure each release is reliable, secure, and high quality. Use AI tools to speed up test creation and maintenance while reviewing AI output for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Playwright automation frameworks and reusable test suites (UI flows and API endpoints)
• Apply test automation patterns such as data-driven testing, page object models, and reusable API test helpers
• Participate in change control by assessing quality implications of defects and proposed changes
• Work with DevOps to build and maintain automated build verification (smoke) tests and integrate suites into CI/CD
• Create and execute automated tests for UI (regression, cross-browser) and APIs (REST/GraphQL) using TypeScript
• Use AI tools to generate/refactor tests and build test data; analyse failures and validate AI-generated output
• Advocate for quality across the development process and investigate issues in the test environment
• Analyse test results, report findings clearly, and prioritize work according to business priorities

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science (or related) and/or ISEB/ISTQB qualification (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of hands-on Playwright front-end web automation with TypeScript/JavaScript for SaaS applications
• Experience planning and estimating testing, and collaborating with product owners, business analysts, and developers
• English (B2+) and Polish (B2+) written and spoken fluency
