Description

You will design, implement, and maintain custom Odoo modules in Odoo Enterprise and own production-grade API integrations between Odoo and external systems. Working from an API specification and access, you’re expected to deliver the solution end-to-end—secure authentication, data mapping to Odoo models, synchronization, retries, idempotency, and debuggable logging. You’ll primarily work in Odoo.sh (branches, builds, deployments) and review pull requests before they reach production.

Responsibilities

• Work mainly in Odoo.sh: branch, build, deploy; analyze logs and debug using Shell and monitoring tools
• Design, develop, and maintain custom Odoo modules (models, business logic, views, security, reports) for logistics, inventory, and manufacturing workflows
• Deliver end-to-end API integrations: securely consume external APIs and map carrier data (shipments, pallets, locations, statuses) into Odoo models; implement robust synchronization (scheduled jobs, retries, idempotency, error handling, logging)
• Extend integrations to additional carriers/external systems, including a storefront communicating with Odoo via APIs
• Review pull requests as a quality gate before production
• Do performance work with evidence (e.g., Postgres deadlock traces and EXPLAIN)
• Handle multi-company properly (company_dependent fields, record rules, pricelist resolution)
• Collaborate with logistics, warehouse, and sales teams to produce designs that hold up in production

Requirements

• Strong Python and Odoo backend skills (Odoo ORM: create/write/search/unlink; computed/stored fields; constraints; onchanges; access rules)
• 2+ years of commercial Odoo or comparable ERP backend development, including at least one integration you personally owned from API documentation through production
• Proven REST/JSON API integration experience: authentication, pagination, timeouts, retries, error handling, logging, and monitoring
• Solid PostgreSQL performance knowledge (indexes, join patterns, batching, transaction scope)
• Git-based workflows with branches and pull-request reviews (preferably on Odoo.sh)
• Comfort using MacOS Terminal/Linux Shell to run commands, read logs, and troubleshoot performance
• Technical English for written partner discussions; Polish and English day-to-day
