Description

DevOps Engineer responsible for ensuring CI/CD pipelines run smoothly day to day and for designing automated build and deployment pipelines from DEV through PROD. You will implement tooling for deployment and system-health visualization, support secure and compliant CI/CD processes, and participate in release rehearsals and production go-live/migration activities. You will also collaborate with other teams during troubleshooting and help document processes and train team members.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize existing CI/CD pipelines for daily reliability
• Design and implement automated build/deployment pipelines across environments (DEV to PROD)
• Build visualization of system health and operational status for different pipeline builds/deployments
• Participate in planning, status calls, and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Attend final dress rehearsals and support release go-live and production migrations outside business hours or on weekends
• Collaborate with other experts/managers during pipeline troubleshooting and improvement planning
• Ensure security and compliance in the CI/CD process
• Document processes and provide training to team members

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of CI/CD platforms: Bamboo, Jenkins, Tekton, GitHub Actions (or similar)
• Very good knowledge of version control tools: Bitbucket, Git (or similar)
• Very good knowledge of build tools: Maven
• Knowledge of GitOps and deployment automation: ArgoCD
• Knowledge of Internal Developer Platforms: Backstage
• Knowledge of artifact repositories: Artifactory (or similar)
• Scripting skills (at least one): Bash, PowerShell, Python
• Experience with Linux OS
• DB SQL knowledge: SQL commands and DB operations (Oracle preferred)
• Containerization/orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes (MKE, GKE, vCluster)
• Collaboration tools: MS Teams, Jira, Confluence
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Experience with automation and scripting
• Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills
