Description

Locum tenens coverage is needed for a Hematologist/Oncologist with an outpatient-heavy schedule and minimal inpatient rounding. The role runs Monday–Friday with very light call (1:2 rotation) and an expected patient volume of 10–15 patients per day. Resident and teaching supervision are required, with ongoing coverage potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide hematology/oncology care in an outpatient setting
• Handle minimal inpatient rounding as needed
• Supervise residents and provide teaching
• Manage an expected caseload of 10–15 patients per day

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Ability to supervise residents and provide teaching
• Experience providing hematology/oncology care
• Comfort working primarily outpatient with minimal inpatient rounding
