Description

Develop embedded software for mechatronic components and modules used in automotive applications, such as controllers for smart actuation products in thermal management for battery electric vehicles. Deliver high-quality automotive software solutions using process models like ASPICE. Perform software-level requirements and architecture analysis and support test automation and continuous integration in collaboration with testing and tool teams.

Responsibilities

• Embedded software development for mechatronic components and modules

• Develop automotive controllers for smart actuation products (e.g., thermal management for battery electric vehicles)

• Use the ASPICE process model to deliver high-quality automotive software

• Perform requirements and architecture analysis at the software level and align with system departments

• Support test automation and continuous integration strategies with testing and tool teams

• Collaborate with international development teams

Requirements

• Engineering degree (e.g., software/electronics) or another technical degree with proven experience

• Experience with C programming for automotive embedded applications close to hardware

• Advantage: experience with the ASPICE assessment model

• Experience with software tests and corresponding tools

• Fluent in English (German is an advantage)
