Full-stack developer role for an AI platform running in production, contributing to end-to-end delivery and operations on Azure.

Description

You will develop and extend an AI platform (Agent MUNI) used by real users. The work covers new features from data model through backend and frontend to deployment, plus building specialized AI agents and integrating AI services (including language and multimodal inputs). You will also integrate with university and external systems and help ensure operational quality such as audit trails, monitoring, and AI cost evidence.

Responsibilities

• Develop new platform features end-to-end (data model, backend, frontend, deployment)
• Develop specialized AI agents and connect AI services (language and multimodal: documents, speech, image)
• Extend domain applications based on university department needs
• Work with RAG and knowledge bases: search, citations, and evaluating response quality
• Integrate with university systems and external services (e.g., Microsoft 365/Graph, identity services, public administration APIs)
• Contribute to production operational quality (permissions, audit trail, monitoring, AI cost evidence)

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript
• Practical experience with React
• Solid SQL knowledge
• Experience operating cloud applications, ideally on Azure (or ability to learn quickly)
• Practical experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and tool calling, including ability to assess AI output quality
• Ability to work independently and take ownership from initial need to production deployment
• Good stakeholder communication: understand needs, formulate requirements, and propose solutions without needing detailed technical specs
• Ability to deliver work into production, including required documentation
• Czech proficiency for communication and product text; English proficiency for technical documentation
• Advantage: experience with Deno/Node backends, Python, AI-assisted development, or an academic environment
