Description

You will coordinate functional testing across all delivery stages and support a banking project building a financial data exchange platform and a business offers model for corporate clients. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining automated UI tests with JavaScript/Java using Selenium and Playwright, performing manual functional testing, and executing API tests to verify REST-based integrations. You will report results and quality metrics and work within Agile/Scrum teams on 2-week sprints.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate functional testing activities at every stage of project delivery

• Create and maintain automated tests using JavaScript, Java, Selenium, and Playwright

• Design and develop test scenarios and test cases

• Run API tests and verify integrations based on REST API

• Support maintenance of test applications and development environments

• Execute ongoing manual functional testing for features delivered by developer teams

• Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams during Daily, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Retrospective

• Work cross-functionally to align solutions and share technical knowledge

• Test in teams of 7–9 people (Product Owner, Analysts, Developers, Testers)

• Use REST API architecture plus Apache Kafka, CI/CD, and cloud solutions

• Provide services mainly remotely with occasional visits to offices in Warsaw or Katowice

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in test automation

• Senior or Expert experience level

• Practical knowledge of Java

• Practical knowledge of JavaScript

• Experience with Selenium WebDriver

• Experience with Playwright

• Practical knowledge of at least one test automation framework (Selenium, Playwright, WebDriver, or NightWatch)

• Experience building and maintaining automated tests for web applications

• Knowledge of HTML/XHTML

• Knowledge of CSS selectors and XPath

• Knowledge of SQL

• Experience testing REST APIs

• Knowledge of JSON and Swagger

• Experience with Postman or SoapUI

• Knowledge of Git version control system

• Experience analytically solving technical problems

• Experience in banking or financial industry

• English at least B2

• Willingness to participate in a technical competency verification
