Description

You will drive enterprise architecture for complex, business-oriented target states, translating abstract capability-based plans into system landscapes and migration paths. You will guide large projects through strategic target visions within agile or hybrid operating models and mentor decentralized business domain architects. You will also ensure consistency across domains by establishing modeling standards, maintaining architecture principles, and supporting architecture boards and decision templates.

Responsibilities

• Provide methodological guidance and sparring for decentralized Business Domain Architects creating capability maps, domain target states, and roadmaps

• Consolidate partial target visions into a consistent enterprise-wide architecture roadmap and evolve architecture principles and technology guardrails

• Perform current-to-future (as-is/to-be) analyses and provide architectural support for strategic cross-cutting projects to ensure alignment with the IT target vision

• Prepare architecture boards and decision materials; align domain target visions with the enterprise architecture

• Establish uniform modeling standards to reduce workload for the DBA Lead and prevent redundancies across domains

Requirements

• Solid enterprise architecture knowledge and practical experience designing and operationalizing complex, business-oriented architecture target pictures (capability-based planning)

• Excellent skills in structuring and translating abstract target pictures into concrete system landscapes and understandable migration paths

• Experience steering large projects along strategic target pictures within agile or hybrid operating models

• Strong stakeholder management to moderate confidently between decentralized architects, project leads, and external partners

• Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with a good enough approach that prioritizes evolutionary progress

• Very good German and English language skills; willingness to work predominantly from the international headquarters in Neckarsulm
