Description

You will design, develop, operate and continuously improve modern web applications across a SaaS portfolio, spanning frontend, backend and DevOps. The role focuses on integrating AI-native features and agentic experiences using LLMs, retrieval and structured tool-use workflows to create value for healthcare users. You will also build and run cloud-native services with a strong emphasis on reliability, security and developer productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Concept, develop and operate modern web applications across the SaaS portfolio

  • Integrate LLM-based, AI-native features and agentic experiences (retrieval, tool-use, structured workflows)

  • Design, develop and operate cloud-native services (reliability, security, developer productivity)

  • Collaborate with Product Management, UX, architecture and engineering to improve engineering and AI-engineering quality

  • Stay close to user needs and healthcare workflows; deliver features with an outcome-driven, entrepreneurial mindset

Requirements

  • Multi-year senior full-stack experience in modern web applications with deep knowledge in at least one frontend stack (React or Angular) and one backend stack (Java/Spring Boot or Python), ideally end-to-end product responsibility

  • Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable technical field with above-average results

  • Practical experience with core technologies: React/Angular, Java Spring Boot, Python, C#, Kafka, Terraform, plus cloud/DevOps such as Kubernetes, Helm and ArgoCD (LLM tooling like Azure OpenAI, Anthropic SDK or MCP is a plus)

  • Proven use of AI in software engineering, ideally including agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude Code or similar) and experience designing AI pipelines, harnesses and context engineering

  • Fluent German and fluent English in speech and writing; strong problem-solving and proactive, collaborative mindset with Product Management alignment
