Description

You will help develop integration software used in cutting-edge scientific research, working on transmission electron microscopy (TEM) systems and their modular software/hardware platform. The role includes building and extending a standardized API, developing integration interfaces for third-party solutions, and testing changes directly on the microscope. Collaboration with stakeholders and strategic partners is part of the day-to-day work.

Responsibilities

• Develop integration interfaces for third-party SW and HW

• Program primarily in C++ (C++20)

• Create unit and smoke tests

• Test changes directly on the microscope

• Work with a team of ~8 members in an agile/Scrum environment (SAFE)

• Present results to stakeholders

• Extend the API with new functionality

• Investigate and fix issues, including analysis and testing on customer equipment

• Support integration of new devices and tools

Requirements

• Experience in C++ development

• Minimum 3 years of experience

• Willingness to learn new technologies and work in a software + hardware environment
