Role: Quality Assurance Engineer (QA)

Work model: Office work in Wrocław 2 days per week (planned increase to 5 days); full remote work is not planned.

Description

Join a team building end-to-end test coverage for desktop applications. You will work across manual and automated QA, with automation primarily in Ranorex and C# and quality execution coordinated through Azure DevOps in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and run end-to-end tests for desktop applications
• Prepare test plans, strategies, scenarios, and test cases
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and API tests
• Create and develop automated tests, mainly using Ranorex and C#
• Identify, analyze, and report defects in Azure DevOps
• Maintain test cases, requirements, and test documentation in Azure DevOps
• Use SQL for data validation and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and the Product Owner in Agile
• Support CI/CD and testing activities in Azure DevOps
• Leverage AI testing tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and Azure DevOps MCPs
• Continuously improve QA processes and test automation

Requirements

• Practical knowledge of software testing principles, including ISTQB standards
• Experience creating test plans/strategies and designing test cases
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and defect management process
• Proficiency in at least one language: Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Experience testing desktop applications and APIs
• Strong SQL skills, including ability to write queries
• Practical knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Agile/Scrum experience
• Very good Polish and English
• Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
• Communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Independence and self-organization
