Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Java applications that support savings and investments products, including robust calculation engines ensuring compliance with current tax regulations across multiple countries.

You will develop and support complex business processes integrated with tax authorities and produce customer-facing reports, working across the full software development lifecycle.

You’ll collaborate with financial analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java backend applications
• Build calculation engines for tax-regulation compliance across multiple countries
• Integrate complex business processes with tax authorities
• Generate customer-facing reports
• Participate in requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment
• Collaborate with financial analysts on technical implementation

Requirements

• Strong English communication skills
• Hands-on Java 21+ experience
• Spring Boot and related frameworks (e.g., Hibernate)
• Relational database and SQL proficiency (e.g., PostgreSQL)
• Messaging protocols experience (e.g., Kafka, JMS, MQ)
• Knowledge of OpenAPI and AsyncAPI
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming principles
