Description

You will work on developing a high-performance Delivery Optimization Engine that replaces legacy GIS solutions with a modern architecture based on Python, Google Cloud Platform, and Big Data. The role covers routing and network analysis algorithms, microservices architecture on Google Cloud, and high-scale Python services for first- and last-mile operations. You will also work with geospatial data (including indexing and clustering) and support infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring code quality through reviews, TDD, and clean code practices.

Responsibilities

• Implement and optimize routing and network analysis algorithms using graph theory and Vehicle Routing Problems

• Build and maintain microservice architecture on Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer/Airflow)

• Design and develop high-performance, scalable Python services for first- and last-mile operations

• Work with geospatial data, including spatial indexing (H3), clustering, and integration with PostGIS

• Participate in infrastructure work using Kubernetes and Terraform and maintain CI/CD pipelines

• Ensure code quality via thorough code review and by applying TDD and clean code principles

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of commercial backend development experience with Python and SQL

• Experience in logistics, network analysis, and routing: graph theory, road network modeling, Vehicle Routing Problems

• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform ecosystem and infrastructure tools: Kubernetes, Terraform, Airflow

• Experience working with geospatial data in code: H3, clustering algorithms, PostGIS

• Fluent Polish and English
