Description

You will lead the design of customer data solutions as the technical authority across the project lifecycle. The role includes running customer discovery and requirements workshops, translating business needs into technical requirements and architectures, and producing high-quality architecture documentation to guide delivery teams. You will also provide technical leadership to Data Engineers and Data Visualization Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical authority for data architecture and design throughout the project lifecycle
• Lead customer discovery, requirements gathering, and envisioning sessions
• Communicate confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders and build strong customer relationships
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements, architectures, and delivery approaches
• Produce high-quality HLDs, architecture diagrams, data flows, data models, and supporting technical documentation
• Design Microsoft Fabric solutions using Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake, and Medallion architecture patterns
• Define dimensional models using Kimball principles (facts, dimensions, star schemas, grain, surrogate keys, Slowly Changing Dimensions)
• Make and document architectural decisions, including rationale, assumptions, dependencies, and technical risks

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data architecture or a related field
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Lakehouse, and Data Factory
• Expertise in data warehousing and Kimball dimensional modeling
• Proficiency in Medallion architecture and modern data engineering patterns
• Hands-on experience with Azure data services and integration patterns
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and deployment approaches for modern data platforms
• Excellent communication skills for customer-facing technical discussions and workshops
• Fluent English
• Residency in Poland
