Senior Data Architecture Leader (f/m/x)

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead the development and adoption of enterprise-wide data architecture practices within a highly regulated, research-driven environment. In this role, you will help shape the organization's data strategy, establish scalable information management frameworks, and support the delivery of data-driven initiatives across multiple business functions. You will work closely with both business and technology teams to ensure that data assets are reliable, accessible, and ready to support advanced analytics and emerging AI solutions.Your tasksDefine and evolve enterprise data architecture principles, standards, and governance practicesDesign scalable data solutions that support reporting, analytics, and operational processesTranslate business needs into reusable, high-quality data products and information modelsGuide teams in adopting consistent data structures, semantic frameworks, and architectural best practicesCollaborate with stakeholders across business and technology domains to drive data-related initiativesIdentify opportunities to improve data capabilities and support the development of an AI-ready data ecosystemRequirementsAt least 8 years of experience in data architecture, data management, analytics, or related areas within a highly regulated industryStrong knowledge of modern data architecture concepts, including distributed data platforms and scalable data management approachesPractical experience with cloud-based data environments, data modeling, and SQLUnderstanding of data governance, reference and master data management, metadata, lineage, and data quality practicesExperience supporting research, development, or scientific data domains and working within regulated compliance frameworksFluent English communication skills, both written and spoken
